Here's some more sewing from the Sew Fab Pattern Bundle! It's another pair of Fancy Pants Leggings!
I bought this navy & fluro pink tribal singlet from the op-shop last week, and I had it barely 30 minutes before I had already started cutting into it. That has to be a new personal best. When I bought it, I wasn't sure 100% what I wanted it to be, but then I plopped it on the table next to the rest of the fabrics I had pulled out to make Sew Fab stuff out of and it just happened to fall beside an old stretched out-of-shape kids tank top featuring Pebbles Flintstone and BamBam Rubble! I had that tank top for aggggggggggggges, it's binding was pinky and it was a really strange shape. I hacked into Pebbles to make the butt panel of these pants, and the tribal singlet became the legs.
Dirty Feet are testament to sunshiney days spent playing outside! Sun, we missed you! |
You can see two other pairs of Fancy Pants leggings I have made here. I have three pairs of Fancy Pants shorts for Vincent made up and I will share them with you soon!
Seriously once you've made a pair of Fancy Pants Leggings, you get faster and faster whipping them up. I use my overlocker for all of the seams in this and it takes no time at all! (We are talking under half an hour!)
The Fancy Pants Leggings are just one pattern you can buy in a special bundle of 26 patterns as part of the Sew Fab sale! Check out the other patterns right here!
